Reflection:

I currently do a lot of data management, with IEP's and student work. I actually use excel to manage my IEP's, dates, etc., but I wasn't that good at it. This lesson helped a lot, and now I can use it to update goals of students. I like to put my students in order from when thier IEP's are due. This also helps our psychologist and other specialists, like the speech therapist, I work with so they know if a tri or an annual is coming up!! I really like the comments tool, because a lot of the time there is not enough room in the cells for all the data or info I want to add. I also like that I can send it electronically.

I also use word to make up tests, or other assignments for my students, but I never knew how many features there actually are in word. I really like the drop down box, for multiple choice tests for students, and it can work especially well if students are absent, and want to take the test online!! The check box tool is also great for my students, especially those who need less choices (which I can also give less choices for the drop down box).
